Open Reports in the workspace sidebar to review translation volume, match analysis, logged time, AI usage, and spend. Native projects also link to Reports from the project sidebar. The feature requires the workspace Reports flag and billing:read access (administrators and localization managers). Translators and other roles without billing access see only the Time tab for their own entries, and a task Report tab limited to time logged on that task.

Date range and freshness

Pick dates with the range control at the top of the page. Ready-made ranges include the last 7, 28, or 90 days, this month, last month, this quarter, and Since Reports started. You can also choose fixed days on the calendar or type YYYY-MM-DD bounds. All days are UTC, from the day Reports first recorded work for the workspace through today. Headline numbers compare with the previous period of the same length. Most tabs can lag live work by up to about one capture cycle (typically a few minutes after editor saves). When recent work is still being counted, the page shows that summaries are updating. The AI usage tab reads billing directly, so it does not use that lag; charges billing has not recorded yet appear as pending.

Workspace tabs

Tab choice, dates, and filters stay in the URL so you can share a view.

Task and job Report tab

Open a native file translation or human task job and select Report to see that task’s words, match analysis, logged time, and (with billing access) cost and pricing. While strings are being scored against translation memory, the tab polls analysis state every few seconds and explains when a quote is not exact (for example memory could not be read for a language after retries). Set task pricing (rate card, time estimate, fixed fee) on this tab while the task is open and no finished work is recorded on that step. Pricing applies per workflow step (translate, post-edit, proofread).

Rate cards and budgets

Rate cards are named sets of lines: one per language pair and step, with a basis (per word, per character, per character with spaces, or per hour) and paid shares per match band. Saving a card versioned history so work already priced keeps its rate. A task uses its own card for the step when set; otherwise the project budget’s card; otherwise the card selected on the page. A language with no line on the chosen card is not priced, not zero. Administrators with billing:write create and edit rate cards and budgets.

MCP and exports

Coding agents with billing access can call MCP get_report with report set to activity, words, time, ai, or costs, plus the same optional filters as the page (from, to, projectId, jobId, targetLocale, step, unit, and word-count split / per / mode). See MCP tool reference. Several tabs support CSV export from the UI when you need a spreadsheet.
