First confirm that a translation job exists. Uploading a source file alone does not generate translations.

No job was created

Check My Jobs, the project’s job list, and the originating request or automation run. Confirm it targeted the correct project and locale. If only the upload completed, start a translation.

The job failed

Open the job and read the error. Check these causes in order:
  1. The source file exists and finished processing.
  2. The requested target locale belongs to the project.
  3. Your account or connection can access the project and perform the action.
  4. Required provider connections are still valid.
  5. Workspace usage and limits allow the operation.
  6. Source syntax and placeholders are valid for the format.
Fix the cause before selecting Retry job where available. Record the job link if the same error returns.

The job stays active

Inspect progress and any requested review. Avoid launching the same translation repeatedly. If you decide to stop an active native job, use Cancel job. See Track and recover jobs for eligibility and the separate Mark as failed action.

The job succeeded but text looks unchanged

Confirm the source path and target locale in the editor and download. Existing approved translations are protected from automatic generation overwrites; inspect them when source meaning has changed. Also check untranslated segments instead of relying on job status alone. For repeated failures, contact support with the job link, timestamp, locale, and error.
